Rules:

ARGUS ON FAMICOM

There will be a single 5-minute warm-up practice before your official high score run attempt. The judge will start their stopwatch when the game begins. The competitor will be given a single 5-minute attempt to reach their best high score. The judge will let the player know when it is a 2-minute warning and then a one-minute warning when the judge announces that the time has ended. The competitor will politely put down their controller. Their score will be taken and recorded by the official on that TV. If the player loses all of their lives, the high score will be recorded from that attempt.

Joe & Mac

There will be a single 5-minute warm-up practice before your official high score attempts. The judge will start their stopwatch when the first level is selected and the level has come into focus. Time doesn’t stop when traveling to the following levels. The competitor will have a single 5-minute attempt to reach their best high score. The judge will let the player know when it is a 2-minute warning and then a one-minute warning when the judge announces that the time has finished. The competitor will politely put down their controller. Their score will be taken and recorded by the official on that TV. If the player loses all of their lives, that latest high score will be recorded for that attempt. Each player will be given a 3.8x times multiplier to this high score to balance the total score between the two first games.

Golden Eye 007

There will be 5 minutes to warm up before your official timed score. We are still selecting the exact map and objective currently. We will use a single map from one of the first seven levels unlocked. This game will be a speedrun event as in fastest done gets the highest score possible. Once the player has completed and puts their controller down, the judge will scroll through the game file to record the time stated. A 15-second penalty will be added to the following timed run if the player dies before the challenge objectives get completed. There will only be a single second attempt to submit a completed speedrun.
