1. Where do you ship? And how? And from where?

We ship online orders to all addresses found in United States.  All packages are shipped by United States Postal Service.

Since we know that you would like to receive your games as soon as possible, Retro Games Japan is committed to ship your package within 1 business day following the receipt of your order. If your order is received and payment is cleared before 2PM Mountain time, we will try to ship on same day.

We are based in Montrose, CO and all merchandises are shipped from here.

 

2. Do you ship on Holidays or Saturday?

For holiday shipping. we ship your order as long as Post Office is open. Post office is closed on some holidays and we won’t be able to ship your order on those days. Your order will be shipped on following business day. Please check USPS website for those dates. 

Currently we are not shipping on Saturday.  If we receive your order after 2PM Mountain Time on Friday, you order will be shipped on Monday (if Post Office is not closed due to National Holiday).

 

3. What is your online payment method?

We accept all major credit cards (via Stripe) and Paypal at this moment.

 

4. Do you accept returns?

Yes we do.  We accept returns within 30 days of receipt.

If you change your mind, please ship it back to us and we will give you full refund.  Please pay return shipping for this case.

If there is a problem with the item(s) that you received, please contact us. First we will try to troubleshoot and see what kind of options we can take. It will be case by case but most likely we will either send you a possible DIY repair instruction or provide you with a prepaid return shipping label for returning the product for full refund or replacement.  Please contact retrogamesjapanshop@gmail.com.

4. Do you sell on Ebay or Amazon?

Yes for Ebay and No for Amazon at this moment. You might have seen us on Ebay. Maybe you found us from buying Ebay.

We really appreciate when you purchase from our website since Ebay charges us a lot of fees. If you can’t find the items that are listed on either Ebay or Amazon, please let us know. We will list them available to purchase on our website.

 

5. Is this website safe to shop?

Yes. We are thinking our customers first. If there is any problems, we will reach out and solve them. We are not big company and we are willing to talk to you in person. In addition, we use PayPal checkout and PayPal’s seller protection program protects you from any issues for PayPal Payment. Also, Stripe Checkout is very secure as well. Stripe exceeds industry security standards and they are trusted by thousands businesses of all sizes across the glove including many Fortune 500 companies.

6. What if you don’t have inventory?

All our listings are listed as on hand inventory items. Which means we only list items that we have them in stock. We use inventory sync software to manage our inventory to prevent selling more than we have in our inventory since we sell on Ebay as well.  So most likely we will have the items that you order.  However, rarely human and/or system error may happen because we list inventory by hand. When we find out we don’t have the item you ordered, we will contact you and refund the money you paid right away

Now we are offering a “Waitlist” service so that we can get the item(s) for that that has already sold and out of stock. All you need is to join a waitlist to receive an email from us when the item becomes available to purchase.  You can find “Join Waitlist” columns on out of stock item pages that has “Out of Stock” icon.

 

7. What is a Waitlist?

Waitlist is new service that we are offering now. It is basically a queue that you can receive an email from us when the item is back in stock.  We have so many games and many games go out of stock quickly.  By offering this service, we can keep track of games you want to get and we can prioritize games that we restock. If you have games you are looking for but happened to be out of stock, we strongly recommend you to join Waitlist. 

 

8. Can I request specific game?

Yes. We receive personal request all the time. Since we imports our inventory from Japan and we have rigid suppliers who live in Japan, we are able to fulfill your request most of the time.
